Age limits

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 26 years
• Age relaxation as per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories.

Eligibility per discipline

• Graduate Apprentice: Full-time 4-year engineering degree in the relevant/equivalent stream, recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
• Diploma Apprentice: Full-time 3-year diploma in Engineering in the relevant/equivalent stream, recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
• ITI Trade Apprentice: ITI NCVT certificate in the relevant/equivalent trade/specialization, awarded by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Government of India.

General eligibility

• Indian nationals with West Bengal domicile.
• Degree/diploma/ITI passed in 2022 or later.
• Not eligible if already completed apprenticeship or currently undergoing apprenticeship elsewhere with the same qualification level.
• Not eligible if having apprenticeship training or job experience of 1 year or more after attaining the essential qualification.
• Applying for more than one discipline will not be considered.

• Nil (no application fee).

Other Instructions

• Only online applications via the NATS/BOPT/NAPS portals will be considered; other modes will not be entertained.
• No TA/DA for document verification, interview, or joining.
• The number of engaged candidates is indicative and may change without prior notice.
• Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/PWD follow Government of India guidelines. If no candidates are available in a reserved category, recruitment may be from other categories.
• Apprenticeship does not guarantee regular or contractual employment after completion. The final decision rests with AAI management.
