AIBE 21 Registration 2026: Open Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Fees & How to Apply

No minimum age requirement is specified in the notice. There is no upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have completed a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a Bar Council of India (BCI)-recognized college or university. Final-year LLB students (without backlogs) are also eligible as per current BCI rules.

Enrollment Status

• Open to law graduates already enrolled with any State Bar Council.
• Candidates awaiting enrollment or holding a provisional certificate.
• Those who have not yet obtained or have surrendered their enrollment certificate.

Age Limit

• No upper age limit.

Number of Attempts

• No restriction; candidates may appear multiple times until they qualify.

Nationality

• Indian citizens (as per BCI guidelines).

Final-year students and those yet to enroll should check the latest official notification on the AIBE website for any specific conditions or relaxations.

Important Dates

• Application form release and registration start: 11 February 2026
• Last date to submit AIBE 21 application form: 30 April 2026
• Last date for payment of application fee: 1 May 2026
• Application correction window: Open until 3 May 2026
• AIBE XXI 2026 exam date: 7 June 2026
• Admit card release: A few weeks before the exam date (expected in late May 2026)

Application Fees

• General / OBC: ₹3,500 (inclusive of bank charges)
• SC / ST: ₹2,500 (inclusive of bank charges)

Payment Methods

• Online payment via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
• Some portals may offer offline payment via bank challan at designated branches.

Notes

• The fee is non-refundable.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official website and click on the AIBE 21 Registration 2026 or New Registration link.
2. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number to receive login credentials.
3. Log in and fill in personal details, academic qualifications, and State Bar Council enrollment details (if applicable).
4. Select a preferred exam city/center from the available options.
5. Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and required documents.
6. Pay the application fee online and verify the payment status.
7. Review all details, submit the form, and download/print the filled application form and fee receipt for future reference.

Take a printout of the confirmation page and use the application correction window (up to 3 May 2026) if any changes are needed.

About the Exam

• The AIBE is conducted in offline, pen-and-paper mode with 100 objective-type questions.
• There is no negative marking. A minimum score of 40% (General/OBC) or 35% (SC/ST) is required to qualify and receive the Certificate of Practice.
