Age details

Age limits are specified per post:

• Professor / Additional Professor: up to 58 years
• Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: up to 50 years Age relaxation as per government rules applies to eligible categories.

Eligibility details

Educational qualifications vary by post and department. Candidates should meet the qualifications specified in Annexure-A of the official notification. In brief, posts require a combination of MBBS or MD/MS/DM/M.Ch or equivalent qualifications as applicable to the discipline. All candidates must satisfy the age, experience, and other criteria as stated in the notification.

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 2,360
• SC/ST: Rs. 1,180
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: Nil Fees are payable online via SBI Collect. Fees are non-refundable and apply separately to each post if applying for multiple posts.

How to apply

1. Complete the mandatory online Google Form by the specified deadline.
2. Download, fill, and print the hard-copy application; pay the fee online and attach the payment receipt.
3. Send the sealed hard copy with all required documents to the Recruitment Cell, AIIMS Bathinda, by registered or speed post by the deadline. Enclose the transaction receipt and self-attested copies of all documents.

Selection process

Applications are screened by a scrutiny committee. Eligible candidates may be called for an interview. Depending on the number of applicants, shortlisting criteria or a written examination may be used. Interview details will be published on the official site; no TA/DA is provided for attending the interview.

• Category selections are final and cannot be changed later.
• Specific certificates for OBC, EWS, PwBD, and other categories must be submitted in the prescribed format within the stated timelines.
• Joining time is 30 days from appointment letter issuance.
