Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years for all posts.
• Age relaxation as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC; relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants and SC/ST/OBC for Administrative Officer.

Educational Qualifications

• Health Economist (Level of Scientist C): Master’s degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, or Community Medicine with specialization in healthcare costing and economic evaluation.
• Scientist D (Medical/Non-Medical) / Senior Research Officer: Medical applicants must have MD/MS/DNB/MPH after MBBS with 6 years of research experience or MBBS with 8 years experience; Non-Medical applicants require Ph.D. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field with 5 years of R&D/Teaching experience or equivalent.
• Scientist C (Medical/Non-Medical) / Research Officer: Medical applicants must have MBBS with 6 years experience or Postgraduate Diploma after MBBS with 5 years experience or MD/MS/DNB/MPH after MBBS with 4 years of research experience; Non-Medical applicants must have M.Sc. Life Sciences/MPH/MHA/M.Pharm/Pharm D with 4 years experience.
• Administrative Officer: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years’ experience in Government Department/Statutory Body/Autonomous Body/University/Public Sector Undertaking or retired officers of the rank of Section Officer/Under Secretary to the Government of India.
• Field Officer: Graduate in Science/relevant subject with 3 years of work experience or Master’s degree in the relevant subject or Pharm D.
• Field Investigator: Graduate in Science/relevant subject with 3 years of work experience or Master’s degree in the relevant subject or Pharm D.
