Age Details

• Upper age limit is 45 years as of the interview date. Relaxations apply as per government rules for reserved categories and differently-abled persons.

Educational Qualification

• Postgraduate Degree MD/MS/DNB/MDS in the relevant specialty from a recognized university or institute, with required equivalence documents for DNB where applicable.
• For Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank, qualification should be MD (Transfusion Medicine & Blood Banking) or DNB (Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank).

Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 45 years as on the date of interview.
• Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and additional relaxations for OPH candidates as per government rules.
• Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be considered.

Other Conditions

• Eligibility with respect to age, qualification, and experience is determined on the date of interview.
• Persons with disabilities must provide valid disability certificates at the time of interview.

• Fee payment: Demand Draft or NEFT in favour of “AIIMS Deoghar”. Other payment modes are not accepted.

Other Instructions

• The appointment is full-time and private practice is strictly prohibited; candidates may be required to work in shifts and can be posted anywhere within the Institute as per administrative discretion.
• Engagement is under the Central Residency Scheme and CCS (Temporary Service) Rules; it does not confer any right to permanent absorption.
• Canvassing or providing false information will lead to disqualification and possible removal from service.
• If selected, candidates must give one month’s notice or repay salary for the shortfall period if they resign before tenure completion.
