Age Details

• Professor/Additional Professor: Maximum age 58 years.
• Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Maximum age 50 years.
• Age relaxations as per government norms apply for reserved categories.

Eligibility Details

Professor

• Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) or equivalent in the respective discipline.
• M.Ch. for surgical super specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2, 3, or 5 years recognized course).
• Teaching/research experience as prescribed.

Additional Professor

• Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) or equivalent in the respective discipline.
• M.Ch. for surgical super specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2, 3, or 5 years recognized).
• Teaching/research experience as prescribed.

Associate Professor

• Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) or equivalent in the respective discipline.
• M.Ch. for surgical super specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2, 3, or 5 years recognized).
• Teaching/research experience as prescribed.

Assistant Professor

• Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD/MS) or equivalent in the respective discipline.
• M.Ch. for surgical super specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2, 3, or 5 years recognized).
• Teaching/research experience as prescribed (3 years for MD/MS or 1 year for M.Ch./D.M.; no experience necessary for candidates with a 3-year D.M./M.Ch. degree).
