Age Limit

• General: 45 years as on 30 June 2026
• Relaxations: as per Government norms for SC/ST/OBC PwBD categories. Specific relaxation details are provided in the official notification.

Educational Qualifications

• Clinical departments: MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty, or MDS in Dentistry where applicable.
• Pre-clinical/para-clinical departments: M.Sc. with Ph.D. in the relevant subject.
• School of Public Health: MD/DNB in Community Medicine/PSM or MPH with Ph.D.
• Registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council is mandatory (DCI for Dentistry).
• Foreign graduates must hold FMGE certification conducted by NBE.

Note

• Candidates must pass the qualifying examination with results declared by 31st August 2026. Provisional eligibility may be considered for result awaiting candidates.

Selection Process

• 100-mark merit system: 50% MCQ Written Exam, 30% Academic Record, 20% Personal Interview.
• Interviews called in a 1:6 ratio per vacancy.
• Candidates must apply for only one department.
• Initial appointment is for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years.
