AIIMS Kalyani Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 51 Senior Resident and Senior Demonstrator Posts

Age Limit

• Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of notification (24 August 2026).
• Age relaxations: SC/ST +5 years; OBC +3 years; PwD (OPH) +10 years.
• No age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC against unreserved vacancies. Other relaxations as per DoPT instructions.

Senior Resident (Medical Candidates)

• Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or equivalent in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute, as per the Residency Scheme.
• For Hospital Administration: MD in Hospital Administration or full-time Master’s in Hospital Administration, or DNB in Hospital Administration.
• For Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank: MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine or Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion.
• For Trauma & Emergency Medicine: MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine/Orthopedics/General Surgery/Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pediatrics.
• Super-specialty departments: DM/M.Ch/DNB or equivalent in the respective discipline.
• Dentistry: MDS.

Senior Demonstrator (Non-Medical Candidates - Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry & Biostatistics only)

• M.Sc./M.Biotech/M.Stat degree in the concerned subject, and a Ph.D. in the concerned or an allied subject, from a recognized University/Institute.

Note: Educational qualifications, age, and experience are reckoned as on 24 August 2026 (notification date). Experience is counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification.

Note: If the interview is not completed within the stipulated day/time, candidates may be required to attend on a subsequent day. The online/offline mode chosen during application is final.

• SC / ST / EWS: ₹500
• PwBD: Exempted

Important Conditions

• No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for the interview. Candidates must join within 15 days of the Offer of Engagement.
• Candidates may apply for more than one post/department by filling separate application forms and paying separate fees.
• Applications and documents are verified at interview reporting; only eligible candidates as per the Institute’s eligibility list will be allowed to appear.
• AIIMS Kalyani reserves the right to vary vacancies and amend/cancel the advertisement in part or whole without prior notice.
• Canvassing will lead to disqualification. Disputes are subject to Calcutta High Court jurisdiction.

Selection and Other Details

• Selection is based on interview performance; there is no written examination.
• The final result will be published on the official AIIMS Kalyani website.
• Selected candidates may be posted at rural health and urban centers attached to the Institute for a period decided by the Institute.
• This is a tenure/contract post under the Central Residency Scheme, not a permanent appointment.
