Age Limit

Eligibility Details

• A postgraduate medical degree in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute with mandatory NMC/MCI/MMC/DCI State Registration prior to joining.
• For super specialty disciplines (as specified in the notification), MD/MS in the feeder disciplines are required (e.g., Burns & Plastic Surgery: MS in General Surgery/ENT/Orthopaedics; Cardiology, Endocrinology, Medical Haematology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology: MD in General Medicine/Paediatrics; etc.).
• Candidates with DM/M.Ch in the respective super specialty disciplines may also apply as indicated.
• For Trauma & Emergency, eligibility includes MD in Emergency Medicine or MD in General Medicine or MS in General Surgery or MD in Anaesthesiology or MD in Respiratory Medicine or MS in Orthopaedics or an equivalent qualification.

Note: Specific MD/MS qualifications are required for the super specialty and Trauma & Emergency disciplines as per the notification.

• Notification Date: 08-12-2025
• Opening Date for Application: 08-12-2025
• Closing Date for Application (Google Form submission): 07-01-2026 up to 5 PM
• Age reckoning date: 07-01-2026 (age counted as of closing date)
• Interview Date: To be notified on the AIIMS Nagpur website; may spill over to the next day.

Application Fee

• General/EWS/OBC: Rs. 500
• SC/ST: Rs. 250
• PwD: Exempted from payment
• Fee must be paid via NEFT to the AIIMS EXAM FEE account (Bank details provided in the notification).
• Transaction reference number and date must be mentioned in the application form.
• The application fee is non-refundable.

How to Apply

• Candidates must pay the applicable application fee online via NEFT to the specified AIIMS EXAM FEE bank account. Mention the transaction reference number and date in the application form.
• Fill Annexure I of the prescribed application form and submit a copy of the payment receipt along with all relevant certificates via the Google Form link on or before 07-01-2026 by 5 PM.
• Bring the filled Annexure I form, along with original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies on the scheduled interview date.
• Applicants applying for more than one post should submit separate applications for each post.
• Only candidates declared successful in their qualifying degree and who will complete their tenure on or before the closing date are eligible; if results are declared after the closing date, candidature may be canceled at interview stage.
• Shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the AIIMS Nagpur website; no individual intimation will be sent.
• The Institute reserves the right to amend or cancel the advertisement or changes in the recruitment process as per Government of India rules.
• Canvassing will lead to disqualification. The appointee will be subject to conduct and discipline rules of the Institute.
• For any discrepancies or inadvertent mistakes in the process, the Institute reserves the right to modify or withdraw communications. Jurisdiction for disputes is Nagpur.
