Age Limit

Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation as per Government of India rules: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Eligibility

• Essential Medical Qualification: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Individuals must fulfill Part II of the third schedule and Section 13(3) of the Act where applicable.
• Registration: Must be registered with the Central or State Medical Council.
• Broad Specialty: MD/MS or DNB in the concerned specialty, or an equivalent qualification.
• Super-Specialty: DM/MCh or DNB in the related super-specialty (or an equivalent qualification).
• Experience: Postgraduate qualification holders; experience counted after obtaining the prescribed PG qualification as per Senior Resident norms.
