Eligibility Qualifications

Education

• A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, or Doctorate, as per UGC Act Section 22(3) in one of the following disciplines from a recognized university: Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Sciences, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Medicine.

Disciplines (The following groups are eligible)

• Food Technology Group: Food Technology, Food Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology, Food Processing and Preservation, Food Processing Technology, Food Technology and Management, Food Biotechnology, Food Plant Operations Management, Food Process Engineering and Management, Food Processing, Food Safety and Quality Management, Process and Food Engineering
• Agricultural Science Group: Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, Fisheries, Food Technology, Food Nutrition and Dietetic, Horticulture
• Medicine-related Disciplines: MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BAMS, Sowa Rigpa Medicine and Surgery

Other Qualifications

• Qualification must be as per UGC Act Section 22(3) from a recognized university.
