Age Limits

• Maximum age for men candidates: 40 years.
• Maximum age for women candidates: 45 years.

Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject; OR Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 3 years of teaching/research experience evidenced by fellowship/associateship/training/other engagements.
• 4/5 years Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with First Division or equivalent overall grade point average.
• At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS-rated (>4.0) journal.

Age and Experience

• Upper age limit: 40 years for men and 45 years for women on the date of interview.
• Relevant teaching/research experience as specified above.
