Age Limits

• Men: Maximum 40 years
• Women: Maximum 45 years

Eligibility Details

Option 1: Ph.D. in the relevant subject

Option 2: Master’s degree in Food Technology / Food Science and Technology / Food Processing Technology / Food Technology and Management with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade

Option 3: Bachelor’s Degree of 4/5 years having first division or an equivalent overall GPA

Additional Requirements

• At least 3 years of teaching/research experience (evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ Other engagements)
• Publication of at least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS-rated (≥4.0) journal

Terms and Conditions

• The position is purely temporary and contractual (11 months or until a regular staff is filled).
• No claim/right to regular appointment in the University or any government organization.
• No right for further continuation of contractual service.
• Engagement can be terminated anytime without notice or reason.
• Candidate may leave by giving one-month notice (or pay one-month salary).
• Medical examination at candidate’s expense required before appointment.
• No TA/DA for attending the interview.
• Selection committee’s decision is final and binding.
• Associate Dean may cancel/postpone the interview due to unavoidable circumstances.
