Age Limit

• Maximum age limit: 56 years for all posts.

Librarian

• M.Sc. Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized university/institute. Degree/Diploma in Computer from a recognized institute. 5 years of experience in a library or reputed institution, preferably in a medical college. Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D in Library Science/Information Science and Documentation. One year of professional experience in indexing health literature.

Office Superintendent

• Officers of the Central/State Government/UTs holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or Head Clerk/Assistant-in-Charge/Higher Grade Clerk in the Level 6 (Pay Matrix 35400-112400) with 3 years regular service in the grade.

Head Clerk

• Officers of the Central/State Government/UTs holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or Higher Grade Clerk in the Level 4 (Pay Matrix 25500-81100) with 10 years regular service, or combined service of 18 years in the grade of Higher Grade and Lower Grade Clerk, of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Higher Grade Clerk.

Higher Grade Clerk

• Officers of the Central/State Government/UTs holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or Lower Grade Clerk in Level 2 (Pay Matrix 19900-63200) with 8 years of regular service in the grade.
