Age Details

• General/OC: 18-42 years
• SC/ST/BC/EWS: 18-47 years (5 years relaxation)
• PwBD: 18-52 years (10 years relaxation)

Note: Age is calculated as on 01 July 2026. Distinction between local/non-local reservations applies per AP government rules.

Educational Qualification

• AEE - Electrical: B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a UGC-recognised, AICTE-approved university; applicable to all five utilities.
• AEE - Civil: B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Civil Engineering from a UGC-recognised, AICTE-approved university; applicable to all five utilities.
• AEE - Telecom: B.E./B.Tech in Telecommunications / Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognised university; applicable to APTRANSCO, APEPDCL, APCPDCL, APSPDCL.
• AEE - Mechanical: B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university; applicable to APGENCO only.
• AEE - Electronics: B.E./B.Tech or AMIE in Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation / Power Electronics / Computer Science Engineering or equivalent; applicable to APGENCO only.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years. Maximum age: 42 years (as on 01 July 2026).
• Age relaxations: SC/ST/BC/EWS up to 5 years; PwBD up to 10 years.

Important Dates

• Notification release: 25 June 2026
• Online application opens: 30 June 2026 at 10:00 AM
• Last date to apply/pay/upload certificates: 20 July 2026 at 23:59 hrs
• CBT: 22 August 2026 to 29 August 2026 (tentative)
• Merit list: last week of September 2026 (tentative)
• Hall tickets: available ~7 days before CBT

Application Fee

• ₹1,000 for all candidates (no fee waiver for SC/ST/BC/EWS or PwBD).
• Fee payment window: 30 June 2026 to 20 July 2026. Fee is non-refundable once paid.

Other Instructions

• One online application covers all five utilities; candidates indicate utility and zone preferences during submission.
• Aadhaar-linked mobile number required for OTP verification.
• No offline or alternative application modes are accepted. Candidates serving in Government/autonomous bodies must obtain an NOC before applying.
• A Common Recruitment Examination covers Electrical, Civil, Telecom, and other branches; APGENCO subjects (Mechanical/Electronics) are examined separately by APGENCO.
• Hall tickets will be issued 7 days before the CBT. Physical documents are required for certificate verification if shortlisted.
• Candidates must upload all required certificates at the time of application; no post-deadline submissions are allowed.
• Adherence to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 is mandatory.
• Local candidature policy: 95% local vacancies per zone; 5% open to non-locals; PwBD category requires valid SADAREM certificate.
• Salary during probation: ₹75,000 per month (consolidated) for 2 years; regular RPS-2022 pay scale after probation.
