Age Limit (as on 01-07-2026)

• General (OC/EWS): 18-42 years
• SC/ST/BC (AP): 18-47 years (5 years relaxation)
• PwBD: 18-52 years (10 years relaxation)

Educational Qualification

• AEE - Electrical: BE / B.Tech or AMIE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• AEE - Mechanical: BE / B.Tech or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• AEE - Electronics: BE / B.Tech or AMIE in Electronics & Communications Engineering or related Electronics disciplines
• AEE - Civil: BE / B.Tech or AMIE in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Notes

• Only qualifications mentioned in the application form will be considered.
• Equivalency certificates or relevant Government Orders must be produced if claiming an equivalent qualification.
• Degrees recognized by UGC/AICTE will be considered. Distance education degrees from outside Andhra Pradesh may not be valid.

• Hall tickets: available 7 days before exam

• Merit list: tentative in September last week

Application Fee

• ₹1,000 for all candidates (non-refundable)
• Payable online between 30 June 2026 and 20 July 2026
• Journal Number is issued on payment but does not complete the application until the form is submitted

Selection Process

• Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks, 3 hours, no interview.
• Shortlisted candidates undergo Certificate Verification; final selection lists are published on the portal.
• Probation: 2 years with consolidated ₹75,000 per month; regular pay under RPS-2022 after probation.

Salary & Benefits

• Consolidated probation remuneration: ₹75,000 per month
• Regular pay scale under RPS-2022 after probation
• Non-monetary benefits include accommodation, medical facilities, and DAV school access at generating stations

Bond & Documentation

• Service bond of 7 years (5 years post-probation) with potential liquidated damages for early departure
• Mandatory deposition of original certificates with APGENCO during bond period

• Educational certificates, identity proofs, residence and birth certificates, community certificates, EWS/PwBD certificates, and other relevant documents
• No Objection Certificate from current employer if in government/autonomous/aided service
