APPSC TGT Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 389 Trained Graduate Teacher Posts

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 35 years as on 27th April 2026
• Age relaxations as per Government of Arunachal Pradesh rules for APST, PwBD, and other categories.

Educational Qualifications

• Second-class Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognised university, with the subject studied in all years of the degree.
• B.Ed (General) from an NCTE-recognised institute is mandatory; General B.Ed is acceptable for teaching Classes IX-X as per Education Department instructions.
• B.Ed (Special Education) is not treated as an alternative qualification for these posts.
• The B.Ed programme should be at least two years including mandatory school internship. One-year B.Ed degrees obtained before 2015 are also eligible.
• Candidates with a Four-Year Integrated Degree Programme with B.Ed (General) are eligible if they meet subject-specific requirements.
• Final year/final semester students are not eligible.
• Each candidate may apply for only one TGT (Secondary) post/subject.

• Indian citizens meeting the above criteria.

• Online Application Start: 26/03/2026 (from 17:00 hrs)
• Online Application End: 27/04/2026 (up to 13:00 hrs)
• Last date for PwBD certificate: 27/04/2026
• Tentative Written Exam Date: 12/07/2026

Application Fees

• APST Candidates: ₹150
• Other Candidates (Non-APST): ₹200
• PwBD Candidates: Exempted from payment

Note: Fees are to be paid online. PwBD candidates are exempt from fee payment as per local rules.
