Eligibility Details

Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)

• Master’s degree in the subject with at least 50% marks and a 2-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent.
• Alternatively, Master’s degree with 50% marks in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, History, or Psychology, along with a recognized teaching qualification.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

• Four-year integrated degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, or Post-Graduation with 50% marks and three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed., or Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in Hindi, Science (Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Physics), Sanskrit, or Computer Science.

Primary Teacher (PRT)

• Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.El.Ed/D.El.Ed, or B.P.Ed/D.P.Ed from a recognized institution. For Dance: Diploma in Dance and strong English communication. For Computer Science: BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/B.Tech (CS/IT). For Art & Craft: degree with Fine Arts/Visual Arts/Art & Craft as a subject (50%).

Kindergarten Teacher (KGT)

• Diploma of at least two years in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education (D.E.E.Ed) or B.Ed (Nursery). NTT/Montessori training and ECCE qualification from a recognized institution are acceptable.
