Age Limits

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 38 years
• Relaxation as per rules for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and PwBD

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a degree from a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or the State Legislature, or an institution deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification declared by the Government.

• Candidates must possess the above prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications.

Application Fees

• General: Rs. 297.20
• OBC/MOBC: Rs. 197.20
• SC/ST, BPL, PwBD, and women candidates: Rs. 47.20

Important Information

• Applications must be submitted online only through the official portal. One Time Registration (OTR) is required if not already completed.
• Upload required documents (age proof, degree marks sheets, Caste/PwBD certificate if applicable, Employment Exchange Registration, Small Family Norms declaration, photograph and signature).
• Fee payment must be completed online. No editing allowed after final submission.

Selection Process

• Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) - Screening Test
• Main Examination (Written - 6 papers) + Interview/Personality Test

Centres

• Preliminary Examination centres include Amingaon, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, and other centres across Assam; Main Examination will be held in Guwahati.

General Information

• Eligibility conditions must be satisfied. Admission to all stages is provisional.
• PwBD candidates may avail scribe facilities as per rules.
• Fee once paid is non‑refundable.
