Eligibility Criteria

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) requires candidates to hold the appropriate teaching qualification and be in the final semester of the respective course to appear:

• Paper-1A (Classes I-V Regular): Intermediate with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwBD) with a D.El.Ed. OR 4-year B.El.Ed. OR 2-year D.Ed. (Special Education).

• Paper-1B (Classes I-V Special): Intermediate with 50% marks (45% for reserved) with D.Ed. Special Education OR 1-year DSE OR other RCI-recognised qualification.

• Paper-2A (Classes VI-VIII Regular): Graduation with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwBD) with B.Ed. OR 4-year B.El.Ed. OR 4-year integrated B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR PG with 55% OR 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

• Paper-2B (Classes VI-VIII Special): Graduation/PG with 50% marks with B.Ed. (Special Ed.) OR B.Ed. (General) with 1/2-year Diploma in Special Ed. OR other RCI-recognised qualification.

• Pursuing candidates in their final semester of the relevant programs are eligible to appear.

• In-Service teachers with certain conditions may be exempted or require qualification as per Supreme Court judgments.

Application Fee

• For each Paper (1A/1B/2A/2B) separately: ₹1,000
• Applicants taking all papers: ₹1,000 per paper (no combined discount)

Note: Fee payment is open from 05-06-2026 to 05-07-2026.

How to Apply (APTET June 2026)

1. Visit the official portal: https://cse.ap.gov.in/
2. Read the Information Bulletin carefully before filling the form.
3. Click on "APTET-JUNE-2026 Online Application" and select "New Register".
4. Enter basic details: name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, email, mobile, category, address.
5. Upload a recent photograph (3.5×3.5 cm, JPEG, ≤50 KB) with signature.
6. Complete registration to obtain a Journal Number (fee confirmation only).
7. Log in using the Journal Number, fill in educational qualifications, and select paper(s).
8. Preview and submit. You may EDIT to correct details before final submission.
9. Pay ₹1,000 per paper via the Payment Gateway.
10. Take a printout of the submitted application for reference. Do not post to the APTET office.
