Age Details

• Minimum age across posts: 18 years

Educational Qualification

• AEE / Electrical: B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university (AICTE-approved, UGC-recognised).
• AEE / Telecom: B.E. or B.Tech in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized university.
• AEE / Civil: B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

• General (OC): 18 to 42 years
• SC / ST / BC / EWS: 18 to 47 years
• PwBD: 18 to 52 years

Notes

• Degrees awarded through distance mode from study centers outside Andhra Pradesh are not valid for this recruitment.

Application Fee

• ₹1,000 for all candidates, payable online between 30-06-2026 and 20-07-2026. The fee is non-refundable once paid. A Journal Number is generated upon payment, but this does not imply completion of the application.

Bond and Service Obligations

• Appointed candidates must execute a Service Bond on non-judicial stamp paper worth ₹110 for a total period of 7 years (2 years probation + 5 years service).
• If leaving during probation or before completing 5 years post-probation, substantial liquidated damages apply. Certificates may be deposited with APTRANSCO for the bond period, with conditions for temporary release on security.
• Appointees are likely to be posted in field roles (Meter & Relay Testing, Line Maintenance, Sub-station Maintenance, or Construction Divisions) in rural or remote locations for at least 5 years from appointment.

Selection Process Overview

• The selection is merit-based and conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks, with no provision for interviews. Marks are normalized across shifts.
• Steps include CBT, certificate verification, merit listing, final selection, and appointment subject to verification and eligibility.

• Ensure Aadhaar-linked mobile number for registration OTP verification.
• Upload required documents in high quality (photo, signature, degree certificates, community/EWS/PwBD certificates as applicable).
• Finalize zone and utility preferences at submission; changes are not allowed afterward.
