Age Limit

• General (UR): 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2026
• OBC/MOBC: Relaxation up to 3 years
• SC/ST: Relaxation up to 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen (UR): Up to 42 years with further relaxations for OBC/MOBC and SC/ST as applicable
• PwBD: Up to an additional 10 years relaxation over the applicable category limit

Educational Qualification

• A 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institute (regular program).

Nationality and Domicile

• Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
• Domicile proof may be required (Permanent Resident Certificate or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam).

Important Instructions

• Apply online only through the APSC recruitment portal.
• Create One Time Registration (OTR) if you are a new user; provide a valid email ID and mobile number.
• Upload scanned copies of required documents (DOB proof, educational certificates, caste/domicile certificates, BPL/PwBD certificates, etc.) in PDF format (max 4 MB).
• Upload recent photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format (Photo: 50-200 KB; Signature: 50-200 KB).
• Verify all details before final submission and pay the application fee online.
