Age Limits

• General & OBC: 18 to 28 years as of 01 January 2026 (born after 01 January 1998 and on or before 01 January 2008).
• SC/ST: 18 to 33 years as of 01 January 2026 (born after 01 January 1993 and on or before 01 January 2008).

Relaxation

• Upper age relaxation: 5 years for General/OBC and 10 years for SC/ST, applicable to meritorious sportspersons.

Educational Qualification

• Matriculation from a recognised Board.

Sports Qualifications

• Players who have participated in international competitions, national competitions, inter-university tournaments, national sports/games for schools, or Khelo India events (including Khelo India University Games, Khelo India Youth Games, and Khelo India Winter Games).

Age Proof & Certificates

• Only Matriculation/Higher Secondary certificates will be accepted as age proof.
• Certificates from boards other than Central/State Boards should be accompanied by government notifications declaring equivalence for central government service.

Other Requirements

• Valid sports certificates from competent authorities as specified in the notification.
• Caste certificates for SC/ST/OBC as prescribed.
• All sports and education certificates should be in possession at the time of joining.

General Instructions

• Online applications are invited from eligible male and female Indian citizens for Rifleman/Riflewoman (General Duty) under Sports Quota for 2026.
• The Recruitment Rally will be held at multiple locations; RFID PST, MAT, and Field Trials will be conducted at designated centers across Nagaland, Meghalaya, Assam, and Manipur.
• Vacancies may be diverted between male and female candidates across sports disciplines if needed.
• Candidates must carry personal sports gear; no equipment will be provided.
• Entry will be restricted to candidates with valid call letters and photo ID; mobile devices are banned at rally sites.
• No TA/DA is admissible for the recruitment process.
• Use a functional email and active mobile number in the online form.
• Further event updates will be communicated via the official website and email only.
