Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age relaxation as per rules.

Eligibility

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from an AICTE- and State Council for Technical Education-recognised institution.
• Candidates should have exposure to hardware and software in a typical office environment.

• Starting Date for Apply: 03-11-2025
• Last Date for Apply: 27-11-2025

Application Fees

• General/UR: Rs. 1,000 (Rupees One Thousand Only)
• Reserved categories (ST/SC): Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred Only)
• The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online.

How to Apply

• Download the prescribed application form from the ASTU website.
• Do not submit more than one application for the same post.
• The envelope should be superscribed with: 'Application for the post of System Operator (Post code)'.
• Address the envelope to: The Registrar, Assam Science and Technology University, Tetelia Road, Jalukbari, Guwahati-781013.
• The size of the prescribed application form is approximately 21 cm x 29.7 cm (A4 size). Only the downloaded form will be accepted.
