Age Limit

• Maximum age limit: 50 years as on 01-07-2026. Age relaxation as per government rules may apply.

Educational Qualifications

• For PGT positions: An Integrated Post Graduate Course from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks including B.Ed, or a Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject.
• For TGT positions: A four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks including B.Ed, or a Bachelors/Honors degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks, or a three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed or 01-year B.Ed (Special Education) from an RCI-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
• Qualified in Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper II).
• Competence to teach through English and Hindi Medium.

Departmental/Subject Requirements

• PGT (Mathematics, Economics, Sociology, History, Political Science)
• TGT (Science, Social Studies, English)

Other

• Candidates should have the necessary qualification with the stated marks and demonstrate competency to teach in English and Hindi.
