Educational Qualifications

• A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Ph.D. degree as applicable in accordance with UGC/CSIR guidelines.
• NET qualification as per UGC regulations or exemption as specified in the note of the advertisement.

Additional Qualifications

• The time taken to obtain M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. shall not be considered as teaching/research experience for appointment to teaching positions.
• Relevant equivalencies and relaxations as per statutory provisions.

Preference/Reservation

• Reservations as per UGC/Covernment norms are applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories with required documents uploaded.
