Eligibility

• Postgraduate degree or diploma in ophthalmology (as applicable) along with MBBS from a recognized university/institution
• Enrolled with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or equivalent
• Preference given to candidates with surgical competence and a comprehensive logbook
• Reservation as per GNCTD rules (SC/OBC/Handicapped)

• Notification Date: 21/11/2025
• Walk-in Interview Start Date: 28/11/2025 (Friday)
• Walk-in Interview Dates: Every Friday (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM) until all vacancies are filled
• Walk-in time and venue: Report by 09:30 AM; registration until 11:00 AM on interview day

Other Instructions

• Appointment is on ad-hoc basis initially for 89 days, extendable up to 1 year based on performance
• No TA/DA for the interview
• Services governed by Residency Scheme, GNCTD, Civil Services rules
• Original documents required for verification on interview day
• No separate call letters will be sent; eligible candidates will be listed on the hospital website
• Ensure reporting to the Establishment Branch, ASJ Eye & General Hospital, Lawrence Road, Delhi - 110035 by 09:30 AM on interview day
• Prefer candidates with specialty and logbook as per requirements
