Age Limit (as on 01 June 2026)

• MMGS-II: 25 years minimum; 32 years maximum
• MMGS-III: 28 years minimum; 38 years maximum
• SMGS-IV: 32 years minimum; 45 years maximum

Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer), 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen and those affected by the 1984 riots.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Graduation degree with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD) from a recognized University/Institute, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• Professional qualifications such as CA/CMA-ICWA/CS/CFA are also acceptable, along with post-qualification banking/credit experience.

Post-qualification Experience

• MMGS-II: 3 years (with at least 2 years in MSME/Commercial Credit/Project Finance)
• MMGS-III: 5 years (with at least 3 years in MSME/Commercial Credit/Project Finance)
• SMGS-IV: 7 years (with at least 4 years in MSME/Commercial Credit/Project Finance)

Application Fee

Important Notes

• The selection process may include Online Examination and/or Personal Interview with a 70:30 weightage if both stages are conducted.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for General/EWS; 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD.
• A refundable security deposit is required at appointment: ₹2,00,000 for MMGS-II and ₹3,00,000 for MMGS-III/SMGS-IV, refundable after three years of satisfactory service.
