Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 30 years

Relaxations are available as per Government of India orders for specified categories and conditions. The notification does not specify separate age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD in the posted data; candidates claiming relaxations should provide documentary proof.

Educational Qualifications

DR/01 - Scientific Assistant/C (Psychologist)

• Graduation in Psychology with a minimum of 60% marks, PLUS a Post Graduation in Applied Psychology/Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology with at least 50%. Minimum one year hospital/clinical experience after acquiring the postgraduate degree will be preferred.

DR/02 - Scientific Assistant/B (Pathology)

• B.Sc with at least 60% marks followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) with at least 60% marks, OR B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) with at least 60% marks.

DR/03 - Scientific Assistant/B (Radiography)

• B.Sc (Radiography) with at least 60% marks, OR B.Sc with at least 50% marks plus one year Diploma in Radiography.

DR/04 - Scientific Assistant/B (Nuclear Medicine Technologist)

• B.Sc with at least 60% marks plus DMRIT/DNMT/DFIT (Diploma in Medical Radio-Isotope Techniques/Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology/Diploma in Fusion Imaging Technology) with at least 50% marks, OR B.Sc (NMT) with at least 60% marks.

Candidates who do not meet the educational qualifications as of the closing date (18 August 2026) will not be eligible to apply. Where grades are used, candidates must convert to equivalent percentage as per university norms and provide proof at document verification.

Application Fee

Payment is online only. Fee must be paid by the closing date (18 August 2026) or the application will be incomplete and rejected. Fees paid are non-refundable. If applying for more than one post, separate applications and fees are required for each post.

Other Instructions

• Only online applications will be accepted during the stated window (17 July 2026 to 18 August 2026).
• Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call; screening may be used if applications are excessive.
• Vacancies are provisional and subject to variation; the Competent Authority may modify or cancel the recruitment process without notice.
• Wait-listed candidates may be offered appointment only if vacancies arise from the main list; the wait list is valid for one year from the date of select panel preparation or until a fresh vacancy is notified.
• Providing false information will lead to disqualification at any stage, including after appointment.
• For SC/ST/OBC candidates, category details must be indicated in the application and proofs provided at the time of written test/interview.
• Candidates should be prepared to stay in Mumbai for 2-3 days for the written test/interview.
• Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India within the Department of Atomic Energy; duties may involve shift work and field work.
• Written test/interview may be conducted in Hindi or English as per candidate choice.
• For SC/ST outstation candidates, travel allowances for the shortest route may be paid according to rules; this does not apply to those already employed in Central/State Government or PSUs.
