Age Limits

• Graduate & Diploma Apprentices: 25 years as on 01-02-2026. Relaxation as per Government norms ( SC/ST: +5 years, OBC: +3 years, PwBD: +10 years).
• ITI Apprentices: 21 years as on 01-02-2026. Relaxation as per Government norms.

Eligibility by category

• Graduate Apprentices (Engineering): Electronics and Communication Engineering; Mechanical Engineering. Must have passed BE/B.Tech in the relevant branches as recognized by AICTE/GOI on or after 01-07-2021.
• Graduate Apprentices (Non-Engineering): B.Sc, B.Com, BA; must have passed 3-year programs in the relevant subjects recognized by AICTE/GOI on or after 01-07-2021.
• Diploma Apprentices: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Mechanical Engineering as recognized by AICTE/GOI approved institutes on or after 01-07-2021.
• ITI Apprentices: Trades including Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Draughtsman (Mechanical), COPA, Welder (G&E); ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT.

Applicants must meet the specific educational qualifications for each category as stated in the BEL notification.
