BEL Recruitment 2026: 51 Trainee Engineer and Trainee Officer Posts Online Application

Age limit

General and EWS candidates: up to 28 years as of 01-01-2026. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL. PwBD candidates enjoy an additional relaxation of up to 10 years (in addition to category relaxations).

Eligibility details

• Trainee Engineer-I (Electronics/Mechanical/Civil/Electrical and related fields): Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) with a Pass Class from AICTE/UGC-approved institutions.
• Trainee Officer-I (Finance): Full-time MBA (Finance) or M.Com from a recognized institute/university with Pass Class.
• All degrees must be from AICTE/UGC-approved colleges/institutes or recognized universities. Candidates must possess all years/semester mark sheets and degree certificates; in case of CGPA, a conversion certificate must be attached.

• Start of Pre-Registration for Walk-in: 01-01-2026
• Last date of Pre-Registration for Walk-in: 15-01-2026
• Written Test (Walk-in Selection) for Trainee Engineer-I (All disciplines): 25-01-2026 (Sunday)

Application fee

• Rs.177 (Rs.150 + 18% GST) for UR, EWS, and OBC candidates.
• SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempt from paying the application fee.
• Fee is payable via SBI Collect through the BEL portal or the SBI Collect URL. Save and print the payment receipt and attach the SBI Collect Reference Number in the online application.

Other instructions

• Only Indian nationals can apply. Deployments may be at BEL units or other project sites as required.
• BEL will post all official updates in the Careers section of its website. No separate press notification will be issued.
• Candidates must arrange their own travel and accommodation as BEL will not bear such costs.
• Lateral applications for the same post are not permitted if currently employed at any BEL unit; such applications will be rejected.
• BEL does not solicit any fees beyond the prescribed application fee. Any payment requests outside this scope are fraudulent.
• Selected candidates will be covered under medical and life insurance schemes as part of joining documentation.
