Eligibility Details

Professor (Nursing)

• M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty
• 4 years teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing as Associate Professor or higher teaching post in a College of Nursing
• Ph.D (N) preferred; minimum total teaching experience of 12 years after M.Sc. Nursing
• Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level
• Registration with Punjab Nurses Registration Council

Associate Professor (Nursing)

• M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty
• 5 years teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing as Lecturer or higher teaching post
• Ph.D (N) preferred; minimum total teaching experience of 8 years after M.Sc. Nursing
• For super specialty Diploma Course, 5 years teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned/allied specialty
• Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level
• Registration with Punjab Nurses Registration Council

Assistant Professor (Nursing)

• M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty
• 3 years teaching experience after M.Sc (N) in the concerned specialty as Tutor or higher post
• For Super Specialty Diploma Course, 3 years teaching experience after M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned allied specialty with the Post Basic Diploma in the super-specialty
• M.Sc. Nursing in the super specialty concerned as lecturer will be preferred
• Ph.D (N) preferred
• Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level
• Registration with Punjab Nurses Registration Council

Tutor/Demonstrator Nursing

• M.Sc. Nursing in the concerned specialty
• Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level
• Registration with Punjab Nurses Registration Council
