Age Details (as on 01.12.2025)

• Upper age limit: 27 years for GEN/EWS.
• Minimum age: 14 years.
• Age relaxation as per government norms (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen).
• Additional 3 years relaxation for Wards of BHEL Bhopal Employees.

Eligibility Details

ITI Trade Apprentice

• 10th/Matriculation with ITI in the relevant trade from an Institute in Madhya Pradesh recognized by NCVT.
• ITI with minimum aggregate of 60% marks for GEN/EWS/OBC and 55% marks for SC/ST from an NCVT-recognized institute.
• Private ITI candidates are not eligible.
• Candidates who have undertaken Apprenticeship previously or are currently pursuing Apprenticeship or have 1 year of job experience at the time of applying are not eligible.
• ITI from SCVT-recognized institutes and MES certificate holders are not eligible.

Graduate & Technician (Diploma) Apprentice

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech./BBA) for Graduate Apprentice in the relevant branch with minimum aggregate of 70% (GEN/EWS/OBC) and 60% (SC/ST) from AICTE-recognized institutes.
• Diploma in Engineering for Technician Apprentices in the relevant branch from AICTE-recognized institutes.
• Distance/Correspondence degrees are not eligible for apprenticeship.
