Age Limits

• General: 18-30 years for non-teaching ICAR-AICRP/KVK positions (L-6 to L-1); relaxation as per category (SC/ST: up to 5 years; OBC: up to 3 years).
• Widows/divorced women (not remarried) may have extended limits under certain categories (up to 40 years for SC/ST under this category).
• There is no uniform age limit listed for higher scientific/technical posts (AL-10 and above).

Eligibility

• Qualification varies by post. Senior scientific posts may require Doctoral degrees (Ph.D.) with relevant experience and publications. Junior Scientist/Subject Matter Specialist roles often require M.Sc./M.Tech./MVSC with NET/CSIR-UGC or equivalent. Administrative and support posts may require a Bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least high school/12th pass for driver and support staff.
• Essential qualifications are post-specific and detailed in the official notification. Refer to Annex-A in the notification for exact equivalents.
• Desirable qualifications include Ph.D. where a Master’s degree is essential, relevant work experience, computer knowledge, and specialization in the concerned field (e.g., pulses, rainfed agriculture).
• Experience requirements vary by post; higher posts typically require several years of relevant research or teaching experience.

Application Fee

• Rs. 1000 for Gen/EWS/OBC categories - Scientific/Technical & KVK posts (AL-14 to AL/L-10).
• Rs. 500 for Gen/EWS/OBC categories - Non-teaching posts under ICAR-AICRPs & KVK (L-6 to L-1).
• No fee for SC/ST/PwBDs/Women candidates.
• Fee payable online via Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.
• If updating eligibility under older Advt. No. 04/2024-25, reapplication may not be necessary; refunds may be issued on category changes.

General Instructions

• Appointments are coterminous with the project duration; no guaranteed absorption.
• Salary is post-related; no additional allowances (e.g., education allowance, LTC).
• Termination: 3 months’ notice or 3 months’ salary in lieu.
• The University may shortlist, conduct tests/presentations/interviews, relocate candidates, and alter positions.
• No interim correspondence; canvassing will lead to disqualification.
• Eligibility is determined on the last date of online submission.
