Age Limit

Eligibility (Overview)

Senior Consultant (Grade-I) - Degree Course

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty
• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification teaching/clinical experience as on the date of application

Junior Consultant (Grade-II) - Degree Course

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification teaching/clinical experience as on the date of application

Senior Consultant (Grade-I) - Diploma Course

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification teaching/clinical experience as on the date of application

Junior Consultant (Grade-II) - Diploma Course

• MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification teaching/clinical experience as on the date of application

Important Dates

• Challan collection & application submission start date: 21 April 2026
• Last date for receipt of application: 15 May 2026
• Application submission timings: Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Interview date: To be communicated via e-mail

Application Fee

• ₹790 plus GST via challan. The challan is to be collected in person from the DNB Office at Rajawadi Hospital, Ghatkopar (East) during 21 April 2026 to 15 May 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and paid at any CFC Centre of Municipal Ward Offices of BMC.
• A photocopy of the fee receipt must be attached with the application. Applications without the receipt will not be accepted.

Additional Instructions

• The recruitment is offline; there is no online application portal. Download the official notification, fill the form, collect the challan, and submit the application in person or send to the designated address before the closing date.
• Attach self-attested copies of required documents (DOB proof, domicile, educational certificates, experience, caste certificate if applicable, NOC if currently in Municipal Service, Aadhaar copy).
• Paste a recent passport-size photograph with self-attestation on the application form.
• Submit the completed application to the Dispatch Section, Seth V. C. Gandhi & M. A. Vora Municipal General Hospital, Rajawadi Hospital, Ghatkopar (East), Mumbai, on or before 15 May 2026 between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri).
• Selected candidates may be transferred to any peripheral hospital under BMC jurisdiction where the DNB programme is proposed.
• The contract may be renewed every six months with a technical break. The BMC reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel the recruitment process without notice at any stage.
• Ensure Marathi language proficiency is demonstrated where required.
