Age limits

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 35 years (with relaxation as per Gujarat Government rules for reserved categories, women, disabled, and ex-servicemen)
• The upper age limit for internal BMC employees may extend up to 58 years

Educational Qualifications

• Planning-related posts require Master’s degrees such as M.Planning, M.Arch, or M.Tech (Planning).
• Office Assistant (Electrical): B.E. (Electrical) or B.Tech. (Electrical).
• Wireman: ITI Wireman trade certificate.
• Office Assistant (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Junior Operator: ITI Fitter trade certificate.
• Work Assistant (Drainage): ITI in relevant trade (e.g., Drainage/Main Road related).

Additional notes:

• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi languages.
