Age Details

• Minimum age: 40 years
• Maximum age: 55 years
• Relaxations as applicable for government employees and ex-servicemen per the official rules.
• Retirement age: 60 years.

Eligibility Details

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from the Science faculty, or
• Bachelor (Fire Engineering), or
• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile) + Divisional Officer Course from National Fire College, Nagpur, or
• Minimum 3 months senior supervisory training from recognized institutions.

Experience

• Minimum 12 years in fire fighting, including at least 2 years in a senior supervisory equivalent post (Pay Level-11 or equivalent).
• Remaining 10 years in Pay Level-7 or 9 or equivalent.
• An experience certificate from the controlling officer is required.
• Candidates from Central/other states with Pay Level-8/10 experience may apply (counted for non-senior supervisory portion).
