Age Details

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 42 years (for SC/ST); 40 years for most other categories depending on gender and category.

Note: Age is calculated from the date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation certificate (10th) or equivalent.

Educational Qualification

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least one subject from Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Zoology, from a recognized university, OR
• A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent institution.

Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)

• Unreserved (General) - Male: 21-37 years
• Unreserved (General) - Female: 21-40 years
• BC/EBC - Male & Female & Third Gender: 21-40 years
• SC/ST - Male & Female: 21-42 years

Age relaxation as per government rules is applicable for eligible categories.

Important Dates

• Notification / Advertisement release: 10 July 2026
• Online application start: 16 July 2026
• Online application last date: 16 August 2026
• Cut-off date for eligibility: 01 August 2025

Note: No extension will be granted for the last date of online application. Exam date, admit card release date, and result date will be announced later on the official website.

Application Fee

• Rs. 100/- for all categories (General/SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
• The fee is payable online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or RuPay Debit Card. The fee once paid is non-refundable except in cases where the registration fails due to technical issues and is refunded via the payment gateway within a stipulated period.

Important Instructions

• Only online applications will be accepted. No offline submissions will be considered.
• The last date for online application will not be extended.
• The registered mobile number and email ID will be the primary mode of communication throughout the recruitment process.
• Candidates from states other than Bihar must apply under the Unreserved category; other eligibility criteria will apply as per government rules.
• The entire selection process is expected to take about six months. Requests for extensions will not be entertained.
• Providing false information or incorrect category claims may lead to cancellation of candidature and legal action.
• Criminal activity will disqualify candidates.

Candidates should prepare all required documents in advance as per notification guidelines. Photograph and signature specifications must be followed strictly for online submission.
