Eligibility Details

Educational Qualification

Master’s degree or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.Tech. or equivalent) in any branch of Science/Technology, M.V.Sc., or MBBS from a recognized institution as per RCB norms.

Minimum Marks

Minimum 60% aggregate or an equivalent GPA (55% for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, EWS).

Fellowship Requirement

Valid 5-year doctoral fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT or any other Government-recognized agency.

Other

Name and Date of Birth must match the Secondary School Certificate (10th standard). Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination are eligible to apply but must produce proof of eligibility at the time of joining.

  • Selection is based on a single round of offline interviews conducted at the BRIC-NII campus in New Delhi. Shortlisted candidates are informed on 11 May 2026. Accommodation for outstation candidates may be arranged for one day at nominal charges.
  • Research Areas include Immunology; Infectious and Chronic Disease Biology; Molecular and Cellular Biology; Chemical Biology; Structural Biology; Computational Biology.
  • Reservations follow Government of India norms: SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC (NCL) 27%, PwD 5% (horizontal), EWS 10%.
