Eligibility Details

Professor (Arts/Science)

• Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline.
• First-class or equivalent at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant field.

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines, or Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.

Desirable for CSE post

• Multidisciplinary academic background, working knowledge/experience in Indian Knowledge System, and use of experimental learning pedagogy.

Experience

• Professor (Arts/Science): Minimum 10 years of teaching/research.
• Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of teaching/research.
• Assistant Professor: As per NET/Ph.D. exemptions.
• Professor (CSE): Minimum 10 years of experience, at least 3 years at Associate Professor level.

• Qualifications are as per UGC/AICTE regulations and any amendments issued by the Government of Assam.
• Submit the online application with accurate details and ensure that hard copies of the application, along with enclosures and the payment receipt, are sent to The Registrar, Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya, Golaghat Engineering College Campus, Golaghat, Assam - 785702, by the last date indicated. The envelope should be clearly marked with the post name and Advt. No.
• Separate cover for each post is required; multiple posts in a single cover may lead to rejection.
• Do not attach papers that are not published or accepted for publication. Documentary evidence will be verified during the selection process.
• The University reserves the right to withdraw or alter posts, and to modify the selection process as required.
• Candidates should ensure eligibility as of the closing date of receipt of applications. Reservation policy will be applicable as per Government norms.
