Age limits

Maximum 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. No minimum age is prescribed. Age relaxations as per DoPT guidelines may apply.

Eligibility per post

Joint Registrar

Degree in Law and holding: (a) Analogous posts under Central/State Govt./High Court; OR (b) Minimum 5 years regular service in Grade Pay Rs.6600 (Level 11 in 7th CPC); Judicial Officer with minimum 8 years regular service.

Deputy Registrar

Officers of Central/State Govt./High Courts: (a) Holding analogous post on regular basis; OR (b) At least 5 years regular service in Grade Pay Rs.5400; OR (c) At least 6 years regular service in Grade Pay Rs.4800 or equivalent; (b) Possessing a degree in Law.

Principal Private Secretary

Officers holding analogous Principal Private Secretary posts on regular basis in PB-3; OR Private Secretary with at least 8 years combined regular service in PB-2 and PB-3.

Deputy Controller of Accounts

(i) Officers in Deputy Controller of Accounts from CGA/CGA/other accounts services; (ii) Accounts Officer with relevant experience.

Section Officer / Court Officer

Regular post in Central/State Govt./High Courts with 8 years service; Degree required. Desirable: Law.

Private Secretary

Stenographers in Central/State Govt./High Courts with regular service.

Accounts Officer

Regular Accounts/Audit Officers or equivalent experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

Assistant Library & Information Officer

Bachelor’s in Library Science; 2 years’ professional library experience. Desirable: Master’s in Library Science.

Junior Accounts Officer

Analogous post or SAS Accountant/Junior Accounts Officer in accounting organisations with requisite training.

Caretaker

Analogous post or PB-1 with 8 years service; degree required.

Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant in related departments or 5+ years in related roles; or equivalent.

Junior Accountant

Experience in departmental accounting systems or equivalent.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted offline in the prescribed Proforma, typed in double space on single side, through proper channel. Forward through the parent department to the Principal Registrar, CAT Principal Bench, New Delhi within 30 days from the publication date.

• Duly filled Bio Data Proforma (double space, single side)
• Attested ACR/APAR for last five years
• Certificate from Head of Office confirming service particulars, no vigilance/disciplinary proceedings, and readiness to relieve the officer on selection
• Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
• Chronological service particulars including deputation terms
• Any other relevant documents supporting eligibility
