Eligibility Details

• Candidates must have appeared for IIT JAM 2026 and obtained a valid score.
• Admission is through the CCMN 2026 counselling for M.Sc. and M.Sc. Tech programs across participating NITs and CFTIs.
• Specific subject-wise eligibility may vary by institute and program; candidates should verify individual requirements before applying.

Important Dates (Phase I, II & III)

• Phase I (Regular Rounds): Online Registration Opens May 15, 2026; Last Date for Registration/Unlock June 5, 2026; Last Date for Registration & Fee Payment June 8, 2026; Last Date for Choice Filling & Locking June 8, 2026; Round 1 Seat Allotment June 12, 2026; SAF Payment/Document Upload/Withdrawal June 12-17, 2026; Online Document Verification Deadline June 19, 2026; Round 2 Seat Allotment June 22, 2026; Round 2 Document Verification Deadline June 24, 2026; Round 3 Seat Allotment June 27, 2026; Round 3 Document Verification Deadline July 1, 2026; PAF Payment July 2-6, 2026.
• Phase II (Special Rounds - Tentative): July 13-18, 2026 (various milestones); Special Round 1 Seat Allotment July 22, 2026; SR-1 Document Upload/Withdrawal July 22-24, 2026; Special Round 2 Seat Allotment July 27, 2026; Online Withdrawal July 29, 2026.
• Phase III (NSR - Tentative): August 1-11, 2026 (vacant seats announcement, registration, seat allotment, document upload, and physical reporting).
• NSR tentative date: August 1, 2026 for vacant seats announcement; reporting window August 5-11, 2026.

Application Fees

• Registration Fee: General/EWS/OBC Rs. 3,000; SC/ST/PwD Rs. 2,500
• Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF): General/EWS/OBC Rs. 15,000; SC/ST/PwD Rs. 10,000
• Partial Admission Fee (PAF): General/EWS/OBC Rs. 10,000; SC/ST/PwD Rs. 5,000
• Special Round Registration Fee: General/EWS/OBC Rs. 3,000; SC/ST/PwD Rs. 2,500
• Special Round Participation Fee: General/EWS/OBC Rs. 25,000; SC/ST/PwD Rs. 15,000
• NSR Registration Fee: General/EWS/OBC Rs. 3,000; SC/ST/PwD Rs. 2,500
• NSR Participation Fee: General/EWS/OBC Rs. 25,000; SC/ST/PwD Rs. 15,000

Note: SAF, PAF, and participation fees are adjusted against the total course admission fee where applicable.
