Eligibility Details

Educational Qualification

• Masters degree in the relevant discipline with M.Phil./Ph.D. and/or M.Lib as applicable, as per latest UGC/CSU/Govt. of India norms.
• Subjects include Sanskrit and related disciplines, Library Science, and allied academic areas.
• Specific subject options, post counts, and reservations are provided in the detailed advertisement available at the CSU website.

• Start of online application: 20-11-2025
• Last date for online application: 20-12-2025 (11:30 PM IST)

Application Fee

• General (UR)/OBC/EWS: Rs. 3,000
• SC/ST/PwBD: Rs. 1,500
• Fees are payable online only and are non-refundable. The fee may be applicable per subject; separate fees may apply if applying for multiple subjects.

Important Instructions

• Applicants may choose up to 5 ASMs/ASSs; option to select any ASM/ASS in the country is available, with preferences editable until the interview.
• Employees of Govt/PSU/Institution must provide an NOC from their employer during the online form and bring the original NOC and vigilance clearance at interview/document verification.
• Selected candidates will be employees of the respective institution, not of CSU or the Government of India.
