Eligibility

Station Officer (Sub Inspector): B.Sc. / B.E. in Fire Fighting or equivalent from a recognized university. Driver: Passed (10+2) or old Higher Secondary exam. Must have a Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license. Driver cum Operator: Passed (10+2) or old Higher Secondary exam. Must have a Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license. Fireman: Passed (10+2) or old Higher Secondary exam. Store Keeper: Passed (10+2) or old Higher Secondary exam. Mechanic: Passed (10+2) or old Higher Secondary exam. Diploma in Diesel Mechanic trade from an ITI or recognized institution. Watchroom Operator: Passed (10+2) or old Higher Secondary exam. Must be a trained Nagar Sainik (Civil Defence). Wireless Operator (Contractual): Passed (10+2) or old Higher Secondary exam. Must be a trained Nagar Sainik (Civil Defence) including training as a Wireless Operator.
