• Professor (Paediatrics): Up to 66 years
• Associate Professor (Paediatrics): Up to 55 years
• Assistant Professor (Anesthesiology, Dermatology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Radiology): Up to 50 years
• Assistant Professor (Ped Surgery): Up to 50 years
• Medical Officer: Up to 32 years

Eligibility details by post

Professor (Paediatrics)

• Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Postgraduate qualification in MD (Paediatrics) or equivalent. Fourteen (14) years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree.

Associate Professor (Paediatrics)

• Medical qualification as above. MD (Paediatrics) or equivalent. Six (06) years of teaching and/or research experience after MD or equivalent.

Assistant Professor (Anesthesiology, Dermatology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Radiology)

• Medical qualification as above. MD/MS in the concerned specialty or equivalent. Three (03) years of teaching and/or research experience after MD/MS.

Assistant Professor (Ped Surgery)

• M.Ch. in Pediatric Surgery (2-6 years recognized course after MBBS) or equivalent. One year of teaching/research experience; prior degrees may vary by criteria.

Medical Officer

• MBBS with completion of compulsory rotating internship. If internship is not completed, eligible to appear for written examination subject to satisfactory internship before appointment.
