Age Limits

• General category: 18 to 35 years (with +5 years relaxation as a one-time measure).
• Category 2A/2B/3A/3B: 18 to 38 years (with +5 years relaxation).
• SC/ST/Category-1: 18 to 40 years (with +5 years relaxation).
• Additional age relaxations apply for government employees, widows, ex-servicemen, armed forces personnel, and persons with disabilities as per applicable rules.

Educational Qualifications by Post

• Peon: SSLC or equivalent; be able to read and write Kannada.
• Process Server: SSLC or equivalent; possession of a valid driving license preferred.
• Typist-Copyist: Second PUC or equivalent, plus Junior Grade certificate in Kannada and English typewriting from the Department of Public Instruction.
• Typist: Second PUC or a three-year Diploma in Commercial Practice, plus Senior Grade typewriting certificates in Kannada and English.
• Stenographer Grade-III: Second PUC along with Senior Grade Shorthand in Kannada, plus Senior Grade Typewriting certificates in Kannada and English.
