The notification for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) rules was issued by the central government before the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections. The rules and online portal for CAA are ready. The issuance of this notification is considered a masterstroke by the central government, as the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are expected to be announced soon. With the notification issued, the Citizenship Amendment Act is now implemented in the country. The CAA includes six non-Muslim communities: Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, and Parsi. To apply, candidates must carefully read the CAA Notification 2024 before filling out the application form. All columns, such as candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, address, and qualification details, must be filled accurately. If required, all documents must be uploaded in the correct size and format (PDF or JPEG). Before submitting the form, candidates should re-check all columns and documents for accuracy.
