Educational Qualifications (Post-wise) (summary)

• Contractual Staff Nurse (Urban): ANM or GNM with registration in West Bengal Nursing Council; Bengali proficiency; resident of Cooch Behar.
• Medical Officer (UPHC & SC): MBBS with 1-year internship; registration with West Bengal Medical Council.
• Principal Medical Officer (NUHM): MBBS with 1-year internship; registration with West Bengal Medical Council.
• General Duty Medical Officer: MBBS with 1-year internship; registration with West Bengal Medical Council.
• Multi Rehabilitation Worker (NPCDCS): Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy; Desirable: Master’s in Physiotherapy.
• Ophthalmic Assistant (NPPCB-V): HS with PC/BI; 2-year Diploma in Para Medical Ophthalmic Assistants; 2-year Diploma in Optometry and Ophthalmic Technique; preference to candidates from recognized institutes.
• Ophthalmic (NPPCB-VI): MS/DN in Ophthalmology or DOMS/D.O with PG diploma; registered with WB Medical Council.
• Clinical Psychologist (NMHP): Recognised rehabilitation psychology qualification or post-graduate degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology with required training; minimum 1 year experience.
• Psychiatric Nurse (NMHP): B.Sc/M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Technical Supervisor (Blood Services): DMLT/BMLT or related degrees; computer knowledge; desirable: 1-year post-qualification experience.
• Specialist MO posts (Anaesthetist, Paediatric Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Gynaecology & Obstetrics): MBBS with MD/DNB/Diploma as required; WB Medical Council registration.
• UHN Co-Ordinator: Social science graduate with computer skills and 2 years’ health sector experience; preference for Master’s in Social Science.
• Medical Officer ANT (DP), Staff Nurse (N+TC), Medical Officer (RNTCP), Nutritionist (NPCDS), Medical Assistant (NPCDCS), and other post-specific qualifications as per notification.
