CSIR NEERI Chennai Regional Centre has announced recruitment for Project Associate-I on a purely temporary basis for the project Development of Low-Strontium Salts-based Fireworks. Walk-in interview is scheduled for 24 July 2026 at CSIR Madras Complex, Taramani, Chennai. Eligible candidates with a Master of Science degree may attend the walk-in with required documents.

Essential Qualification

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry (General/Organic/Inorganic/Analytical/Physical), Nanotechnology, Polymer Science, or Material Science from a recognized University/Institute.

Desirable

  • Experience in emission testing of firecrackers, data analysis, and R&D formulation related to Green Cracker development.

Emoluments

  • ₹31,000/- + HRA for NET/GATE-qualified candidates
  • ₹25,000/- + HRA for other candidates
