Age Limit

• Upper age limit: 35 years (as on 05-01-2026). Age relaxation as per Government of India/CSIR rules for reserved categories/ex-servicemen.

Essential Qualification

• Ex-Servicemen JCO (Subedar or higher rank) or equivalent rank in other paramilitary forces with a minimum of 10 years of experience in security.

Reduced Experience (5 years)

• Short Service Commissioned Officers and incumbents holding the position of Assistant Commandant in CRPF/BSF/ITBP, etc., carrying pre-revised pay scale of ₹8,000-13,500.

For Inspector rank in Para-Military Forces

• Minimum 10 years of experience required.

Application Fee

• ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only) through SB Collect.
• Exempted for: SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Women candidates.
• PwBD candidates are not eligible to apply (post not identified as suitable).

Important Information

• The post carries usual allowances such as DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, etc., as admissible to Central Government employees stationed at Hyderabad.
• New entrants will be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS) 2004.
• Selected candidates will be on probation for 2 years.
• If accommodation is provided, the selected person will have to reside on campus.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending Physical Test/Written Examination.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
